Today is my 28th birthday (well... if you're reading this on the 12th which is launch day!!) and what better gift to give myself, and you, than to start this blog. I am so excited, and nervous, to start this journey. I still can't even believe this is live right now. It has been a long time coming and here it finally is!
The concept is pretty simple: I'm telling you where I'm going and what I'm wearing. Our lives provide us with so many scenarios to express ourselves through style. The occasion, how we feel or even the type of clothing that we own will play a part in what we wear. This is going to give me a chance to share my perspective on that. Style is so much more than the clothes I put on. It's the way I rock it; it's the way I own it. And I'm hoping that through this journey, I will inspire you to put an outfit together, walk into a room and say, "I styled that"!
In outfit news: This top is literally one of my faves. I can dress it up or down which means you're going to see this more than once; I am a certified repeat offender when it comes to my clothing. It pains me to know that the store I got it from (The Limited) is no longer in business. Y'all, I loved that store! They were my go-to for work wear and I have no idea who will fill that void now. This shirt was the perfect match for my shoes. I personally think they're the star of the outfit. The flowers along the strap are so eye catching and girly. They give me a tea party vibe, which is exactly why my skirt completes the outfit. It's the perfect amount of girly to round it all out. I wasn't going anywhere but if anybody ever wanted to invite me out for tea, I got my ensemble ready!
