The best way to experience New Orleans is by riding a bike...

Me and the girls took a trip to 'Nawlins for the Essence Festival, where I actually learned that locals never say 'nawlins' #funfact. My friends had never been to the city so we wanted to do all of the 'tourist' activities, hence the bike ride. It was a total of 3 hours which means we saw a lot of the city and it was so. much. fun! I wanted to be comfortable, but I also wanted look cute. It would've been so easy to throw on some athletic gear but I was determined to find the balance between chic and relaxed. 

The jumpsuit is very light weight; it's made of a thin material which worked to my advantage in that Louisiana heat. The open back and wide leg of the pants kept me cool as I rode the bike; the slight breeze that was present could be felt blowing on my skin. And there was no way I was going to be in the sun without a hat. Sometimes I had to hold it down from flying away but it really paired perfectly with the ensemble.

I can easily switch things up and wear this with heels so be prepared to see it again; y'all know I love a good repeat!
